The Clinic Administrative Manager-RN is responsible for the overall operations in developing and maintaining well-functioning and compliant physician office clinics. This position will oversee clinics in both the Riverside and La Quinta areas. This will include, but not limited to ensuring the quality of patient care delivery in a specific patient care area and serves as a role model for professional nursing practice, staffing, training, financial/budgetary, billing, ensuring the correct coding when designating patient diagnosis or visit information, policy making, patient satisfaction, and provider/employee engagement. Will supervise management and staff in overseeing the functions provided by the front office coordinators, surgery schedulers, medical assistants, and clinic leads. Collaborates with providers and leadership on matters and strategic initiatives related to profit/loss, budgetary, operational efficiencies for existing and new service lines. Serves as a liaison for employee, provider, and patient relations. Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Has administrative oversight of clinicians (mid-level providers, therapists, psychologists) timekeeping, scheduling, etc.

The full salary range for the Clinic Administrative Manager - RN is $123,000 - $241,400 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $182,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Serves as a resource to nursing staff on patient care clinical issues, new policies, and technology. Keeps staff informed of changes in policies, procedures and external regulations. Responsible for all aspects of the patient experience including quality, risk, safety, throughput and patient flow. Serves as a role model for professional nursing practice. Develops policies, protocols, processes, standardization practices, and workflows across the clinical enterprise to continually enhance the patient care. Serves as a SME and sets the standard for best practices in the ambulatory setting, education, and training of clinical process. In partnership with the UCR Environment Health and Safety Department / Risk Management develop and oversee the Environmental Safety Plan with includes Infection Control Program, Regulated Waste Program, Exposure Control Plans, etc.Supervises and coordinates department operations, resolves system issues, advises on work methods, manages scheduling based on patient census and acuity, and ensures compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. Oversees all aspects of the clinical operations for both front and back office operations, Medical Assistants, scheduling of providers (doctors, advanced practice providers (APP's), therapists, residents/fellows), overseeing all aspects of the patient flow process through the clinic. Coordinate with residency/fellow coordinator and program directors on the GME operations in their respective department(s).
