Position Overview:The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's overall supply chain and logistics operations to maximize efficiency and productivity. This includes procurement, vendor management, and supply chain optimization, all while ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products through the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement experience and expertise in ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Supply Chain Management:

Develop and implement supply chain strategies that ensure timely delivery of materials, maintain optimal inventory levels, and minimize costs.Procurement:

Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and cost management. Ensure that all purchasing activities are in line with company policies and procedures.ERP Management:

Oversee the use of ERP systems to monitor inventory, production schedules, and supply chain operations. Optimize ERP processes to streamline operations and improve accuracy in material planning.Vendor and Supplier Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring reliable sourcing and delivery of materials. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and identify opportunities for improvement.Inventory Control:

Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring the availability of materials for production while minimizing excess inventory.Logistics:

Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.Cost Optimization:

Identify opportunities to reduce costs across the supply chain without compromising quality or delivery timelines.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, finance, and quality control teams to ensure alignment and coordination of supply chain activities.Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies in procurement and supply chain activities.Risk Management:

Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in supply, fluctuating material costs, and transportation delays.Salary:

$80,000 - $130,000 a year
