Supply Chain ManagerFull Time Position - Garland TX

$90-100k Annually plus 100% Medical Coverage, PTO, Education Assistance and more.

Our ClientOur client is a manufacturer of window wall systems designed for high-rise residential developments, with headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They service clients across North America, including major metropolitan areas such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Toronto, and Vancouver.

Purpose:This position is responsible for overseeing procurement, warehouse, and logistics operations. The Supply Chain Manager will lead a cross-functional team to ensure seamless sourcing, storage, and delivery of materials and finished products. The role is essential for optimizing supply chain efficiency, improving cost management, and aligning processes with the company’s growth strategy.

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Lead and mentor a team of procurement, warehouse, and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Provide strategic direction, set performance goals, and ensure cross-functional collaboration.

Prepare and present supply chain performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as cost savings, lead times, and inventory turnover.

Drive data-driven decision-making to support business objectives and operational efficiency.

Procurement Management:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials and components essential for glazing product manufacturing.

Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries.

Analyze contracts, negotiate favorable terms, and continuously assess market conditions to secure competitive pricing.

Coordinate with the Material Take-Off and Scheduling teams for strategic purchasing and inventory planning.

Warehouse Management:

Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, optimal space utilization, and efficient storage practices.

Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, reduce stockouts, and align material flow with production needs.

Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and Operations teams to enhance warehouse processes.

Logistics and Distribution:

Plan and manage the end-to-end logistics process, including inbound shipments, storage, and outbound deliveries.

Optimize transportation routes, delivery schedules, and logistics partnerships to meet customer demands while controlling costs.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices across the supply chain.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a related field with a track record of leadership and operational success.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Strong expertise in procurement, warehouse management, and logistics processes.

Demonstrable experience in contract negotiation, supplier management, and process optimization.

Proficient in supply chain management software (e.g. Dynamics 365) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

APICS certification is a plus but not required.
