Our client, a large building distributor, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Senior Supply Chain Manager
to drive operational excellence across their supply chain network. In this role, you will optimize supply chain performance, enhance productivity and deliver value to customers. You will play a critical role in transforming how our client manages sourcing, inventory, logistics and distribution for their extensive range of building products.
As the
Senior Supply Chain Manager , you will utilize your strategic mindset and analytical expertise to streamline processes, reduce costs and improve service levels while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain leader to contribute directly to the growth and profitability of our client's business. This role is hybrid, with 1-2 days per week to work from home.
Senior Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of supply chain strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needsOversee sourcing, procurement, inventory management and logistics operations across a large, multi-site distribution networkOptimize supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure quality and cost-effectivenessDrive supply chain process improvements through data analysis, performance metrics and the implementation of industry best practicesCollaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance and Operations to ensure seamless supply chain integration and customer satisfactionForecast demand, manage inventory levels and reduce lead times while maintaining service levels to meet customer requirementsImplement technology solutions that enhance visibility, efficiency and scalability within the supply chainMonitor market trends, risks and opportunities to anticipate changes and proactively adjust supply chain strategiesSenior Supply Chain Manager Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)10+ years of supply chain management experience, ideally within the building products, plastics or construction materials sectorStrong negotiation and vendor management expertise with a deep understanding of sourcing, procurement and logisticsProficiency in supply chain software, ERP systems and data analytics toolsExcellent communication, project management and problem-solving skillsIf this position interests you, please apply today!
