Position Overview

The New Business Manager will help build and lead our annuity new business operations team in our Hartford, CT location. Responsible for ensuring timely processing with quality and transparency resulting in a strong customer experience, this leader will help to establish a service- and performance-oriented culture. The manager will establish relationships with business partners, financial advisors, broker-dealers, and back-office support personnel to deliver the best possible customer experience. This position will be located in our Hartford, CT office. Key responsibilities include:Balance resources, people, systems, and technology to meet quality and responsiveness measures.Monitor production and call volumes throughout the day and provide direction to staff to ensure staffing is in place to meet service levels.Ensure that employees follow staffing schedules as required.Enforce and maintain standard operating procedures and service levels for team processes.Ensure successful customer outcomes and investigate and rectify customer service issues in a timely manner.Balance customer service with compliance guidelines.Administer daily dashboards, measures spreadsheets and monthly business review documentation.Research, analyze, and drive and implement process improvements and reporting enhancements that will improve workflow and customer experience.Conduct regular team meetings and coaching sessions with staff. Assist in the training, development, and mentoring of staff to satisfy customer requirements and improve productivity.Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders throughout the organization - Sales, Product, Legal, and Compliance and maintain strong relationships with Internal and external sales teams.Work closely with VP of Retirement Operations and other Retirement Operations Managers to identify, prioritize, and manage projects as they relate to Retirement Operations and company strategy.Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications

Four-year college degree required, advanced degree a plus.Minimum 7 years of related experience with 5 years of demonstrated managerial experience in a related field.Knowledge of annuities and life insurance is preferred.Series 6 or variable product line experience is preferred.Prior Salesforce experience a plus.Superior written and verbal communication skills with proven leadership skills.Ability to motivate staff and collaborate with peers.

Compensation and Benefits

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. The base salary range for this role is $76,767 to $146,223.
