Medical Strategy Lead, Operations , you will assume leadership of a team with both product-specific and portfolio responsibilities. Your primary objective will be to ensure excellence in medical strategy for

Core Epilepsy products , as well as in medical communications (including publications, medical information, and key congress planning) across the Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes Medical Affairs portfolio, encompassing both in-market and pre-launch products.What you'll do

Team leader and key member of the US Medical Affairs Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes Leadership teamLead Core epilepsy medical strategy and medical operations across the US portfolioDrive excellence in cross-portfolio Medical Affairs needs including medical communications (medical information, publications and key congress planning)Working alongside their team, accountable for ensuring seamless medical planning and execution for

Core Epilepsy productsOperationalizes the yearly US medical planning process with Medical Strategy LeadsProcess improvement, including working with other functional groups to streamline and resolve operational hurdles that impede business progressAccountable for working with field leaders and strategy leads to set, track, and report KPIs via agreed-upon modalityWorking with other business units' Medical Affairs leaders, assess and drive updating SOPs for Medical Affairs as neededDevelop, launch and lead internal Medical Affairs rotation programWho you'll work with

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate degree (Pharm.D., DO, MD, or Ph.D.)Minimum of 8 years medical affairs experienceMinimum of 3 years of experience managing/leading a teamMinimum of 3 years in medical information and publicationsMinimum of 3 years of expertise in critically evaluating the appropriate scientific literatureMust have knowledge of FDA compliance and regulatory requirementsMust have the ability to travel up to 25%Preferred Qualifications:

Exceptional organizational skills and mindset, with demonstrated ability to translate plans into executionExceptional organizational and time management skills included experience leading matrixed projectsExperience in medical communicationThis position's reasonably anticipated base salary range is $177,200-$232,575 per year.
