Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center - Opening in 2025!When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years! This teaching hospital will integrate clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital, and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This clinical integration will establish a robust system of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices, clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transports.We are seeking an experienced

Materials Handler (Senior)

to provide supervisory-level responsibility for the control of stock supplies and inventory and in the distribution of materials and equipment received and/or stored in the Supply Chain Department.Performs lead responsibility in the receiving, inspection for damage, and matching of quantities/quality to purchase orders.Assists the Storeroom Supervisor and/or Manager in maintaining the appropriate stock levels without excessive inventory being ordered.Provides replenishment of supplies to the assigned par locations accurately and on a timely basis.Maintains an orderly storage of supplies that meets JCAHO requirements for the storage of supplies.Participates in stock rotation, clean-up duties, clean sweep and physical inventory audits.
