Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center - Opening in 2025!Director - Supply ChainWhen open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years! This teaching hospital will integrate clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital, and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This clinical integration will establish a robust system of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices, clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transports.We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain to join the Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center team in preparation of our opening!The

Director of Supply Chain

is responsible for the effective deployment of operational strategy with a focus on customer service and reducing costs.Oversees large scale supply and purchased services spend on an annual basis.Aligns and implements the corporate Supply Chain strategy across areas of oversight.Enhances quality, service delivery, and cost performance.Identifies, implements, and maintains process improvement to support strategic initiatives.Manages and oversees daily metrics including inbound/outbound receiving, par replenishment, storeroom turns to ensure customer service is delivered on a daily basis to all locations/units.Manages inventory, builds relationships with vendor representatives, and analyzes the workflow performance data.Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.Hires and trains departmental supervisors and managers.To learn more visit

Qualifications

Education & Training:Bachelor's degree from a fully accredited college/university required. Master's degree preferred.APICS Certification Preferred, Six Sigma Black Belt Preferred.Knowledge & Experience:10+ years of supply chain senior management experience.Over ten years of experience in the field of acute care operations including surgical services, Supply chain, logistics and Pharmacy operations preferred.Service oriented, strategic leader with demonstrated quantitative, technical, and financial expertise.Skills:Requires strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Projects a positive attitude, demonstrated collaborative competencies, and a strong work ethic.Ability to foster an environment of teamwork, build strong working relationships, and mentor direct reports.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Travel Requirements:
