ASSISTANT RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR Our South Hadley Girls TreatmentProgram provides young women between the ages of 13 - 18 with theeducational, life skills, therapeutic, recreational and support servicesneeded to improve their behavior and ultimately return home and intotheir communities. Residents attend high school classes or GED coursesand participate in a curriculum designed to impart new life skills toenable them to make healthier choices when re-entering theircommunities. Therapeutic services focus on helping each young womandevelop strategies to increase coping skills and promote positivedecision-making. The Assistant Program Director will work with femaleadolescents in a staff secure residential facility. RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensure that a range of activities are planned and delivered daily,including physical activities Assure that all quality of life standardsare maintained including: dietary, hygiene, clothing, buildingcleanliness, maintenance Assist in quality assurance in documentation ofstudent logs, supervisor log, time out logs, unannounced visits andcamera reviews Oversee quality assurance regarding medicationdistribution and documentation in the log book and narcotic bookImplement Trauma Informed Care treatment philosophies Assist in themanagement of program budget by maintaining student census Promote andalign the agency\'s strategic plan into daily programming Complete dailywalk-throughs to check programmatic safety along with maintainingappropriate living standards Perform verbal and physical de-escalationas needed to ensure safety of employees and students in accordance toagency policies, procedures and DYS defensive and disengagementtechniques. Work closely with the supervisor regarding weekly workschedules and ensure proper staffing ratios are met Assist in thefacilitation of program meetings including: staff meeting, supervisormeeting, team meetings and clinical meetings Supervise and educateemployees with coaching and feedback regarding job performance andprofessional development and agency policies and procedures.Requirements: Minimum of two year residential experience and one year ofsupervisory experience is preferred. Must have strong written and verbalcommunication skills. Bachelor\'s degree required. Valid driver\'slicense is required. \$2,500 Sign-On Incentive This position is eligiblefor the RFK Community Alliance Sign-On Incentive in the amount of\$2,500 in your first year of employment. You will receive \$500 after 3months; \$500 after 6 months; \$1,500 after 12 months.
