Full benefitsSchedule Information:Full-time, FixedPercentage of Time: 100%, 40 Hours per WeekDays of the Week: Mon-FriShift Includes: Days, EveningsJOB DUTIES50% - Financial, Resource, and Personnel SupportAdministers the budgetary and financial operations of the SUA.Ensures compliance with unit, divisional, campus, and systemwide fiscal policies.Reviews budget with the SUA on a regular basis.Advises the SUA in the development and implementation of budget standards.Administers the student employment enterprise for the SUA.25% - Student Advising and Innovative PracticesDevelops and maintains relationships with internal organizations and community partners.Advises SUA officers and interns in all aspects of event planning.Maintains strict confidentiality, tact and professionalism in interactions.25% - Office Management and AdministrationAdministers all records management for the SUA.Coordinates daily operations in the SUA office.Oversees technology operations for the SUA.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.Working knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems.Demonstrated ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and understanding of internal control practices.SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTSelected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment criminal history background check.Ability to work long periods of time at a computer with or without accommodation.SAFETY STATEMENTAll UCSC employees must understand and follow job safety procedures.EEO/AAThe University of California is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
