The successful candidate will fulfill a key role on the Leadership Team as this position will manage and have direct accountability for all purchasing activities in the Americas. This individual will provide leadership and direction within the business establishing a coherent purchasing strategy that is consistent with the Company’s culture, strategic business objectives, and continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts. This position will be responsible for achieving the budget objectives for all commodities globally while negotiating major Supplier agreements.Responsibilities:

Define the Global Purchasing strategy to improve overall business profitabilityBuild and develop an organizational culture that has a bias for action, commitment to value-added services/processes, and a sense of accountability and leadershipDevelop and provide sourcing direction for their global supplier networkEstablish performance metrics, policies, and procedures in administering quality relationships with suppliers globallyWork with site purchasing departments to create effective solutions to improve each site’s demand planning, inventory management, procurement direction, and distribution efficiencyAnalyze and evaluate global purchasing performance across multiple divisions to maximize cost-savings and profitabilityRequirements:

Bachelor's Degree required, Masters preferredCertified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or equivalent experienceProven leadership ability with a proven track record of successfully managing a diverse work groupExperience in a lean-driven organization with a track record of achieving significant cost savings year over yearTotal Compensation:
