Sales Representative

to execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify customer needs, and develop and communicate unique, custom-tailored solutions that generate sales and profit growth. Working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, you will create a positive customer experience that results in repeat business. You must work closely with customer service, scheduling, and manufacturing to ensure commitments are achieved.This position will report to the VP of Sales.Travel Requirement: 80% travel required.FLSA Status: Exempt.What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role:Increases revenue and profitability through generation of new business and further development of existing accounts.Develops sales plans to grow sales and profitability within accounts.Generates new leads by networking, cold calling, and researching various directories and internet sites.Understands complex requirements from customers for preparation of customized quoting.Independently negotiates pricing and value-added services based on quoting configurations.Makes manufacturing decisions on orders related to scheduling, shipping, and design.Prepares periodic reports for management, identifying successful sales activities, trends, special account information, and follow-up actions required.Tracks market trends and develops competitive insights to share among the business unit.Manages orders to ensure timely processing and delivery, quality of products, and overall customer satisfaction.Performs other duties as assigned.What We’re Looking For:Minimum Qualifications:Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a 2-year college, continuing education, and/or training preferred.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales/customer service environment.Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to create and maintain strong relations with customers.Ability to multi-task without compromising accuracy in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Strong computer and organizational skills; ability to create customer presentations.Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.Knowledge of corrugated packaging, box styles, and board combinations.Analytical skills to determine economic consequences of manufacturing a product on various machine centers.Team player.Basic understanding of manufacturing, design, scheduling, and technical aspects of packaging.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Business Mastery.Integrated Leadership.People Development.Change Management.Intellectual Flexibility & Technical acumen.Reasonable Accommodations:Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
