Summary/Objective:As Carrier Sales Executive you will be responsible for developing new and existing relationships with multi-modal transportation providers, managing all operational support, sales initiatives, and financial functions associated with procuring transportation services. In this role you will be accountable to help to build and maintain carrier relationships and provide top-notch service for our customers. This is a fast-paced, and energetic role that requires attention to detail, excellent negotiation skills, where the execution of tasks makes a significant impact on the organization and team.

Essential Functions:Establish, develop, and expand a carrier network for national coverage capacity.Negotiate rates with your carrier network to successfully book and move our clients’ freight.Track and trace load board to ensure delivery on time, and communication of any delays.Ensure compliance with all SOPs and daily adherence to requirements.Understand shipping requirements of clients, and industry standards.Understand and stay abreast of market trends, seasonal capacity, and industry competitors.Review documents submitted by carriers to assure accuracy, detail, and completeness.Promote a team collaborative environment.Create solutions to existing partnerships by further developing carrier relationships; always ask questions, listen and be open minded.

Required Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or related fieldMin 2 years’ experience in a 3PL/Brokerage environmentStrong history of developing carrier relationships and negotiating and closing long term deals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaboration skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing complex and competing priorities.Self-motivated, with a desire to grow and continuously improve self and those around you.

Salary: $68K/yr.
