About the job:The Account Sales Representative has been the driving force responsible for expanding the company year over year. Our account sales reps take pride in growing client portfolio's by identifying and developing relationships with potential customers through various outreach methods, including cold calling and email campaigns. They can manage a high volume of outbound calls to sell transportation solutions, negotiate rates, and propose services. By maintaining a full sales pipeline, they ensure deals are at various stages of the sales life cycle. They efficiently use proprietary software and collaborate well with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:

Expand a portfolio of clients by identifying, sourcing, and cultivating relationships with potential customers.Utilize a variety of outreach methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and email campaigns, to attract new business.Handle a high volume of outbound calls to sell transportation solutions, negotiate rates, and propose various transportation services to new and emerging client networks.Identify and develop qualified leads (cold calling) in markets that provide value to our customers.Maintain a full sales pipeline with deals at various stages, from new (qualified) leads and introductions to mid and late-stage sales life cycle targets.Develop, execute, and monitor strategic and tactical goals to maximize sales profit and ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.Efficiently use internal proprietary software to manage daily operational tasks such as client prospecting, research, shipment tracking, and internal team communications.Foster relationships with internal departments to ensure growth that meets or exceeds industry standards.Collaborate effectively with Carrier Sales, customer support, and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and adherence to quality standards.Onboard new and existing carrier and customer accounts onto the company's internal proprietary tracking system, facilitating shipment tracking for end users and enabling a focus on customer satisfaction, prospecting, and selling.

What you need:2 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the transportation and 3PL logistics industry.Deep understanding of transportation and 3PL logistics services, encompassing freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain management.Demonstrated success in sales and closing deals in previous roles.Comprehensive knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape, market trends, and client requirements.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and internal stakeholders.Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to achieve favorable outcomes in deal-making.Preferably possesses an established book of business or ongoing client relationships (not mandatory).What We Offer:
