The Office of Student Engagement is currently seeking a student to join their team of professionals. This position reports to the Student Engagement Program Manager and supports outreach initiatives that foster student engagement across all FIU campuses.Duties include:Under direct supervision from the Program Manager and Graduate Assistant, support the planning and execution of pop-up events with university partners that focus on different engagement opportunities.Support management of department social media accounts and departmental marketing initiatives.Represent Center for Student Engagement during tabling events.Have recurring one-on-ones with Program Coordinator and/or Graduate Assistant to work on individual professional development.Job Category

Students enrolled at FIU, who have been awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package.Student must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate, during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.Upon credits decreasing, award being canceled, or graduating, FWS employment must end.Work Schedule

Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of the department.Ten (10) hours per week.Advertised Salary
