The Operations Manager plays a vital part of assisting and executing operational excellence at Arrow Benefits Group. This position entails oversight of organizational activities, collaboration with department heads, and ensuring seamless execution of key functions. The Operations Manager will serve as a key liaison between management, staff, and Patriot, contributing to the overall success and growth of the Agency.Primary Job Responsibilities:The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Operational & Office Management:

Maintains and develops all administrative and operational activities in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Plan office layouts and coordinate necessary equipment, collaborating with the IT department regarding office equipment and related technology.Manages mail processes, ensuring efficiency and contributing to overall organizational effectiveness.Assumes a leadership role in overseeing general office management, including maintenance, mailing, supplies, and equipment.Coordinates and schedules meetings and appointments, contributing to decision-making processes.Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational costs alongside the leadership team.Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Department Collaboration:

Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of departmental functions, collaborating closely with department heads and works to create cross collaboration and synergies between department functions.Serve as a conduit between various departments (e.g. HR, IT) to ensure cohesive operations and communication.Play a key role in the Culture Committee, managing budgets, agendas, and contributing to annual event planning strategies alongside other team members.

Contract Management:

Leads the review and execution of legal contracts with vendors, ensuring compliance and negotiating favorable terms.Manages and negotiates contracts and service agreements, ensuring favorable terms and compliance.

Project Leadership:

Provides high-level guidance on crucial projects, working closely with department heads to ensure successful outcomes.Takes a lead role to onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including teams acquired through acquisition.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Requirements:5 to 7+ years of experience working in a management, accounting, or Human Resources position.Previous experience interacting with all levels of employees, including company leadership.Possess an understanding of the inner workings of an insurance agency, preferably employee benefits.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and transparently.Possess strong leadership skills to effectively guide and inspire teams, provide guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.Exceptional problem-solving skills, combined with a persistent approach to achieving successful resolutions.Ability to identify areas of improvement and implement innovative solutions to optimize processes, streamline operations and workflow efficiency.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage daily responsibilities effectively.Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external parties to meet shared objectives.Display a high level of attention to detail when entering data and reviewing documents to avoid errors and ensure data integrity.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with team members and other departments.Familiarity and proficiency in using relevant software applications, including Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other tools used for client management and communication.Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and client information.Preferred:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.Experience working in the Insurance industry, preferably in Employee Benefits.Previous experience planning and coordinating corporate events and travel.WHY PATRIOT?Patriot offers the opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing company at its inception. $75,000 - $90,000 depending on experience^A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
