Position Overview : This position is with a well-established independent insurance agency that has been in business for close to 50 years. The mission of this role is to assist in the day-to-day operations of the agency through the performance of administrative tasks that benefit the efficiency and effectiveness efforts of the agency in whole. For operations this includes the management of vendor relationships; maintenance of carrier / broker folders, contact information, pulling, summarizing, and communicating production reports; working with our Patriot partners to maintain both agency and individual staff licenses; the administration of IT access for agency and carrier / broker systems and portals; handling the distribution of events tickets to clients; timecards; physical office space management. In the area of marketing work with the VP of Agency Operations and Producers to create and execute the marketing strategy to ensure the agency’s long-term growth and success. This role is responsible for integrating sales, client retention and new lead generation into all aspects of the agency by working collectively with agency sales team members.

Work Arrangement : This is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to our office located in Charlotte, NC. Computer equipment will be provided by the company upon hire.

Professional Responsibilities

Oversee vendor system access as the Agency Administrator and spearhead platform reviews, recommending improvements as needed.Generate essential production reports and ensure licensing compliance with state regulations in partnership with Patriot Compliance and Licensing.Ensure licensing compliance with state requirements in collaboration with Patriot Compliance and LicensingHandle a variety of administrative duties, including HR tasks and coordinating event tickets for producers and clients.Lead the implementation of our marketing strategy and keep the team informed with clear communication of the marketing plan.Maintain up-to-date client lists, gather team feedback, and drive client engagement.Enhance our social media presence, focusing on growth and online reputation management.Develop and execute nurturing strategies and renewal campaigns to improve client retention and drive cross-selling opportunities.Manage lead generation efforts, win back unsold prospects, and optimize closing ratios.

Qualifications And Requirements

High school diploma or equivalentBachelor’s Degree preferredProperty and Casualty Insurance experience preferred but not required.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite and productsAbility to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions.A passion for being part of a team that drives our company to industry leadershipAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both peers and clientsAuthorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
