Job Summary:

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by providing general maintenance and repairs at the property.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere

Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations

Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goals

Assist with training and developing team members

Respond to maintenance calls and provide general maintenance including, but not limited to, changing lightbulbs, HVAC needs, painting, removing snow, gardening, and cleaning

Conduct inspections of public areas daily, conducts and documents preventative maintenance initiatives regularly

Keep all mechanical areas in a neat, orderly working condition

Evaluate and prioritize maintenance requests as needed

Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, including using personal protective equipment when required

Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction and reducing costs

Coordinate maintenance and repair needs with other departments as needed

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board

High school or equivalent is required

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be reliable

Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday

*Experience in HVAC, Electrical, and Carpentry a plus.

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time

Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high

Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds

Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 pounds

Frequently required to reach overhead

Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time

Work Environment:

You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.
