So if you want to be challenged in an exciting and fast-paced environment, this is the place for you!Job Summary:As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by providing general maintenance and repairs at the property.Duties and Responsibilities:Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphereEnthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relationsAdhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goalsAssist with training and developing team membersRespond to maintenance calls and provide general maintenance including, but not limited to, changing lightbulbs, HVAC needs, painting, removing snow, gardening, and cleaningConduct inspections of public areas daily, conducts and documents preventative maintenance initiatives regularlyKeep all mechanical areas in a neat, orderly working conditionEvaluate and prioritize maintenance requests as neededUse cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, including using personal protective equipment when requiredMake suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction and reducing costsCoordinate maintenance and repair needs with other departments as neededPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be 21 years of age or olderMust be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming BoardHigh school or equivalent is requiredMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be reliableMust be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday*Experience in HVAC, Electrical, and Carpentry a plus.Physical Demands:Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of timeOccasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet highFrequently required to lift items up to 30 poundsOccasionally required to push or move items up to 100 poundsFrequently required to reach overheadOccasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of timeWork Environment:You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.
