Job Summary:

As Food and Beverage Shift Manager, you will supervise restaurant activities and employees to ensure smooth and efficient service, ensuring staff meets service standards in the 24-hour outlet.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Foster an environment that embodies Bally’s Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere.

Enthusiastically promote Bally’s customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations.

Ensure compliance with regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the New York State Gaming Commission regulations.

Hire, train, and manage staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies, and programs.

Maintain high food, service, and health and safety standards.

Respond to guest and employee needs and resolve complaints and issues.

Inspect food outlets and observe workers and patrons to ensure compliance with occupational, health, and safety standards.

Control labor and operating expenses.

Schedule and direct staff in the performance of work assignments.

Maintain high visibility during peak periods.

Ensure all guests receive superior service.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Must have two or more years of related experience.

Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds.

Regularly required to see, hear, talk, bend, twist, stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.

Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in a work environment that is frequently fast-paced and noisy.

Work Environment:

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.
