Survival Flight is currently accepting resumes for the Sr. Human Resources Business Partner position located in Batesville, Arkansas. The Senior HR Business Partner reports to and works closely with the Director of Human Resources. As a Sr. HR Business Partner, you will support the organization's leaders across the entire talent lifecycle. This role is a proactive Human Resources partner and internal consultant focused on driving business success and achieving competitive advantage through human capital strategy. This key role functions as a trusted and collaborative senior strategic advisor to business unit leadership while executing HR strategies to support organizational capability, workforce planning, employee development, change management, employee engagement, and effective business performance. The role will be expected to strategize and collaborate with all leadership and HR team members to identify growth opportunities, engage and retain employees through HR initiatives, and aid in establishing an efficient organizational design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Consult with business leaders to translate business strategies and objectives into an HR roadmap, garner support and identity ownership for that roadmap.

Coach leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession, organization effectiveness, and high-performing team dynamics.

Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures.

Manage employee relation issues conducting investigations and making recommendations with the support of the Director of Human Resources.

Lead the day-to-day management of all recruitment activities, including talent sourcing, resume reviewing, posting open jobs and managing the talent pool electronically on iSolved.

Manage the HR section of 9th Brain, including updating job descriptions, HR documents, etc. as needed.

Assist with compensation and benefits program.

Serve as the first contact for employee benefit and workers comp questions.

Manage all workers comp claims from first report of injury until the claim is closed.

Participate with onboarding and ground school as needed.

Foster an environment of openness through employee communications and engagement.

Drive a culture of personal and professional development through performance management.

Tactically execute business strategy for human capital planning that aligns to business priorities.

Facilitate programs and practices to assess and improve employee engagement, fostering talent and performance management.

Support legal recommendations to executive team for improvement of the company's policies, procedures and practices regarding all human capital matters.

Administer the company performance management and goal-setting activities.

Provide guidance and counseling to employees and managers.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends to ensure company's compliance with employment law, regulatory guidance and case law updates.

Provide a high degree of customer service and a positive candidate experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong, demonstrated and practical experience in the areas of HR, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, psychology or a related field from an accredited university or (8+) years of progressive experience in a strategic senior level HR business partner, generalist, or management role.

5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.

3+ years supporting a leadership/management team.

3+ years managing employee benefits.

Working knowledge of employment laws and practices.

Ability to make independent decisions and resolve issues with demonstrated ability to execute at a high level.

Strong technical skills with Microsoft products.

Agile learner with demonstrated business and analytical ability.

Advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Able to manage multiple priorities with a focus on results.

Experience supporting a multi-state organization.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR/SPHR certification.

Analytical capabilities; ability to influence with data driven recommendations.

Ability to proactively plan, design, identify, and diagnose issues in order to drive solutions.

Strong business knowledge and capability to assess HR implications of business priorities.

Coaching and mentoring at the management and senior management level.

Success in creating and driving effective human capital plans.
