Overview
We are seeking a skilled Party Chief to join our team. As a Party Chief, you will play a crucial role in overseeing land surveying projects and ensuring accuracy in data collection and measurements for boundary and topographic surveys and construction layout.
Duties
Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as Trimble data collectors (TSC5 and TSC7), Trimble robotic total station (S5 and S7), Trimble GPS (R10 and R12i).
Supervise survey crews and provide guidance on surveying techniques.
Analyze survey data and prepare detailed field notes.
Utilize trigonometry and math skills to calculate distances, angles, and elevations.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure surveying requirements are met.
Oversee data collection processes and ensure accuracy in measurements.
Skills
Interpret deeds and subdivision plats for boundary construction.
Ability to perform precise data collection using advanced surveying tools.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
Line and symbol coding.
Experience
Min. 5 years experience with at least 2 years of Party Chief role.
Construction staking and grading.
Boundary survey.
Establish site control and level loops.
Topographic Surveys.
