Party Chief Position

Wallace Morris Kline Surveying, a well-respected Land Surveying firm seeks highly motivated Party Chief with a minimum of (5) years’ experience as a party chief.

Job Qualifications:

Knowledge of control/boundary surveys, construction staking, ALTA/ACSM and topographic surveys, and able to prepare clear field notes among other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and ability to perform proper field checks before, during and after all field surveys.

Read and understand plans and specifications.

Perform mathematical calculations and checking data.

Proficient with Trimble total stations (S6 Robotic), GPS (static/RTK), data collectors (TSC2/3).

Must be able to work cohesively within a team setting and independently.

In good health, physically able to work/hike for long hours and carry heavy loads.

Possess good written, communication and interpersonal skills.

Must be able and willing to travel.

Attendance, punctuality and reliability are essential requirements.

Able to work in inclement weather.

Valid Driver’s License required.

OSHA 30 Certification required or to be completed within 2 weeks of hire.

The employee will be required to adhere to the company’s policies, safety plan and the project safety plan.

Benefits:The following is a summation of the benefits currently offered by WMK: Health Insurance – WMK pays 100% of the plan premium for employees only. Dental / Vision- WMK pays 100% of the plan premium for employees only. WMK provides $25,000 worth of life insurance coverage for each employee, at no cost to the employee. 401(k) plan – WMK currently provides up to a 4% “matching contribution” to an employee’s contribution. 80 hours paid personal time off for the first year and increases to 120 hours the second year of employment. Nine paid company holidays per year.
