Job Title – Team Leader
Location: The Old Downs, Castle Hill, Longfield DA3 7BH
Contracted Hours: 33-44 Hours Per Week
Salary: £13 Per Hour
We are looking for a positive and motivated Team Leader to join our team. You will be passionate about care, with a genuine drive to manage a care team responsible for those using our services, including our residents, their families, and visitors .
As a Team Leader you will support the Management Team of the home in the day-to-day management of the Care Home, showing your passion and commitment for delivering the highest standard of care to our residents and promoting care that is person centred and evidence based.
Main Objectives:-
Your role will be key to driving and motivating our Care Team.
Managing a team of care staff including Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to ensure our residents receive high quality person-centred care.
Welcoming and admitting new residents, including care planning and medication.
Providing all aspects of personal care for residents.
Monitoring standards and auditing the service, reporting to the Manager and external agencies. Supervising and monitoring the Service and training & inducting junior / new staff.
What skills do I need?
A compassionate and caring nature
NVQ 3 or above qualification
Previous experience in working as a Senior Carer
Up-to-date clinical skills
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to nurture and develop staff
Good organisational skills and the ability to work unsupervised
Ability to foster and develop communication with external agencies
Ability to manage your workload and maintain standards
Ability to monitor and maintain clinical standards / Auditing skills
