As the Field Category Manager for Walmart, you'll develop objective, data driven, category insights that help deliver both sales and margin goals for all products within Walmart and Sam's Club account(s). This full-time position is hybrid and based in the vibrant city of Rogers, AR. As the Field Category Manager, Walmart, you'll report directly to the Director of Walmart Field Category Management. Join us and help shape the future of our beloved brands in the U.S. marketplace!Main Responsibilities:Maintain and communicate Ferrero's strategy on how to grow the assigned categories, focusing on Distribution, Merchandising, Shelving, and Pricing (DSMP) fundamentalsTranslate Category Management annual & long-term priorities to actionable initiativesParticipate in joint business planning development and line review sessions to enhance category growth within the Confections, Spreads and Cookie CategoriesWork collaboratively to develop innovative and insightful content to drive category growthLeverage all syndicated data resources, shopper insights platforms and research in support of the sales initiatives that ensure linkage with the category management planMonitor and analyze category, competition, and consumer market data to proactively identify business opportunities and develop actionable category insightsBuild relationships with customer teams to become or strengthen strategic and trusted partner statusDrive support for new product innovation launches through commercial planning processWho we are looking for:7+ years relevant experience required, CPG Foods experience is preferredBachelor's degree in a business/marketing discipline required; MBA a plusPrior Category Management role required; Additional insights experience preferredSyndicated data required; IRI & Luminate experience preferredInterpersonal skills to interface effectively with the necessary internal and external stakeholders, building solid relationships and customer influencing skillsStrategic and proactive thinking to develop category strategies and translate them into distribution, shelving, pricing and merchandising objectivesSolid MS Office skills, especially Excel & PowerPoint, and Storytelling capabilities to translate data & insights into selling narrativesManagement presentation competencies to effectively present key category insights to senior leadershipGlobal mindset; desire to build a successful career with a growing global companyExcellent written, oral and presentation skills25% Travel required for customer meetings and industry eventsHow to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
