Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare drawings from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of Structural Engineers, Designers, and Technicians.Prepare highway bridge drawings using MicroStation.Coordinate with other team members including engineers, managers, administrative staff, and construction staff.Perform other duties as needed.Required QualificationsAssociate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.A minimum of 2+ years experience in structural engineering or related projects.Good working knowledge of BIM, MicroStation, and AutoCAD.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with TxDOT CADD standards.Experience working with OpenBridge Modeler (OBM) or other parametric 3D software.Detail oriented with good organizational and planning skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Willingness to assist with a wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers.Preference given to local candidates.Why HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for; it's also about what you do and how you do it.
