In the role of Structural BIM Specialist 2, we'll count on you to:Prepare drawings from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of Structural Engineers, Designers and Technicians.Require preparation of highway bridge drawings using MicroStation.Coordinate with other team members including engineers, managers, administrative staff, and construction staff.Perform other duties as needed.Required Qualifications

Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.A minimum of 2+ years experience in structural engineering or related projects.Should have a good working knowledge of BIM, MicroStation and AutoCAD.An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with TxDOT CADD standards.Experience working with OpenBridge Modeler (OBM) or other parametric 3D software.Detail-oriented with good organizational and planning skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Willingness to assist with a wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers.Preference given to local candidates.Why HDR
