Manufacturing QC Inspector
for our client manufacturing client located in Ronkonkoma, NY. This is a 6-Month contract project with a pay rate up to $34/HR (DOE).Job Summary:
This is a temporary position for 6-months, responsible for inspecting incoming material and performing quality inspections on components. Quality recording, tracking, and reporting the results of inspections, and implementing corrective actions.Job Details:Duration: 6-Month contract projectPay Rate: $32 - 34/HR (Depending on experience)Work Schedule: MO - FR from 7am - 3:30pm/ESTJob Location: Ronkonkoma, NYWork Responsibilities:Read and understand engineering documents to ensure incoming material is compliant.Accurately communicate results of inspection activities and work with quality personnel when issues are found.Perform inspections on manufactured and repaired products by the use of manual and automated measuring equipment.Keep accurate and up to date records on inspection failures.Perform First Article Inspections on products.Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED2 years in an electronics mfg field in QC role and reading technical drawings ie: metalwork, PCB assemblies, cables, componentsExperience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.1 year interpreting quality standards and specs to evaluate products and soldering work skillsPreferred Skills / Qualifications:IPC-610-A and ISO experienceAble to interpret procedures and determine if non-conformities existESD practice skills
