This position reports to the Director for IAM. Key duties include:Directing the initiation, coordination, and execution of complex IAM projects.Convening university participants, clients, and vendors, ensuring effective communication throughout projects.Developing and communicating policies and practices for a diverse client population.Accountability for project decisions, metrics, and client satisfaction.Reviewing design and project documentation, contract deliverables, and capital expenditures.Managing processes and creating guidelines.Providing creative solutions to complex problems.Maintaining productive working relationships and negotiating service prices.Working independently and supervising vendor activities.Qualifications:Minimum Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education/experience demonstrating knowledge of CCTV, locks, burglar alarm systems, and card access systems.Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Access Management and proficiency in project management.Certifications/Licenses:Valid driver's license.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.Formal training in CCTV design, plotting, networking, and maintenance.Access Control training covering design, power, functional code, and management.Knowledge of ADA code for system installation.Experience with intrusion alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.Understanding of keys/hardware design and master key systems.Preferred Qualifications:Excellent communication and data management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Burglar Alarm License.Locksmith License.Special Conditions:Clean Driving Record.Pre-employment Screenings:All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment screenings.Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity Statement:Rutgers University provides equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants, valuing diversity and prohibiting discrimination based on legally protected classes.
