Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven and forward-thinking Field Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will supervise a team of Electrical Installation colleagues and oversee their work and installations. As a Field Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.Responsibilities
Conduct Field Safety Audits and Inspections: Regularly perform safety audits and inspections to identify and address immediate and potential hazards.Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Use iSafe data and field observations to proactively identify risks and assess hazards to prevent accidents.Safety Training and Awareness: Administers local safety training program, including new hire orientation and annual training.Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzes safety data and reports findings to local leadership team.PPE Management: Assists with the identification and procurement of relevant safety equipment.Injury Management: Supports Injury Management Plans to reduce severity of workers' compensation claims.Safety Committee: Chairs local safety committee and develops annual goals with local leadership team.Emergency Response Planning: Leads emergency response plan and conducts regular drills.Assists Sales in completing Pre-Qualification questionnaires, RFPs, and bid documents.Oversees training needs and program to ensure colleagues are equipped to follow industry standards.Leads team of Convergint colleagues to help develop and implement best practices.Trains end-users and field colleagues on how to operate and maintain systems.Meets with customers to review satisfaction of installation and service practices.Ensures that all work has been performed in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations.Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.Company Benefits and Perks
