Applicants must live in Alabama in order to be considered, ideally in Birmingham or Huntsville.What We Offer:

Daily rate offered $200.00 - $300.00 depending on insurance experienceAdditional reimbursement for travel over 100 milesReimbursement of mileage, and business related expensesRemote opportunity which will require travel within the state of ALCompany provided equipment and trainingHours will vary from week to weekThis is a remote position.What We Do:

Conduct one on one meetings with each client at their place of employment, or by phone to provide a thorough understanding of benefit offerings available to review existing benefit package and assist in making new electionsAssist new and existing customers in the selection and purchase of work-site, voluntary and core productsProactively follow-up with businesses and/or school groups to ensure customer satisfaction and answers basic customer service questionsProactively ensure all materials for enrollments are readily available and in presentable format to share with clientEssential Duties:

Responsible for meeting goals for each case including production goals and participation requirementsResponsible for delivering all enrollment data and paperwork to the appropriate person by the designated dateResponsible for delivering benefit information in both group and individual settingsResponsible for completing all enrollment documentationResponsible for being prepared for each enrollment which includes having all sales/enrollment materials and a thorough understanding of the group's benefit plan, and being able to sell products suitable for each individual within that groupRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPointExcellent organizational skills and work ethic, and ability to work independentlyEffective communication skills with the ability to present to both individuals and groups on all levelsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsPositive attitude; present a professional appearance and demeanor; ability to handle confidential informationMay require overnight travel. Must maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving recordMust be comfortable and effective with public speaking.Excellent understanding of Section 125, Flexible Spending Accounts and any pending changes to eitherRequired Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalentCurrent Insurance Agent license in Health and Life for State of AL1 or more years' experience in customer service, sales, insurance, finance, or related fieldOr, equivalent military experience#USAL1
