Washington State Residence RequiredThe Regional Account Executive is licensed to sell health, life, and/or disability and determines how USAble Life’s administrative processes need to operate to best support our group customers. They work with our in-force block of business to oversee, negotiate, and deliver renewals, along with holding the primary responsibility to upgrade current benefits and add additional lines of coverage. The Account Executive will partner with our internal operations teams, sales team, brokers, group administrators and Cambia teams to provide the best service experience with existing clients and brokers. Travel is required up to 40% of the time.Essential Duties:Ensure that existing accounts are retained by providing superior service for customer satisfaction.Accomplish mutual corporate responsibilities and goals by partnering with operations, sales teams, groups, brokers, membersEnsure a stabilized customer base by developing effective rapport with all brokers, group leaders, and decision makersProvides field service calls to review plan design, contract language, and administrative practices on assigned groups on an as needed basisConducts annual employee benefits meetings and benefit fairs, soliciting and communicating the coverage available or enrolled inProspects current group for benefit upgrades and additional lines of coverage, driving growth to current Book of Business and maintaining persistency goalsEducates group on the administration of all benefits as well as renewal methodology and justifies rate increases on assigned groupsReceives calls daily from groups having specific problems or needing immediate assistance as point of escalationCoordinate with internal teams to problem solveHelp support the transition of groups and brokers to USAble LifeWork closely with Sales Executive to coordinate a smooth transition from initial sale to proper ongoing service for new groupsCultivate partnerships with Cambia Sales and Account Management teamsMaintains accurate Benefit Summaries and Enrollment Forms for each groupWorks alongside our Accounts Receivable team to support the collection of delinquent premium paymentsResponsible for educating group on proper administration, contract interpretation and helping resolve service issues that arise.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Licensed to sell Life and Disability insuranceKnowledge of life and health insurance practices as related to group life, STD and LTD, claims processing, billing, contracts and related informationAbility to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAbility to conduct clear and concise presentations for brokers and groupsStrong negotiating and presentation skillsCreative problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to prioritize, self motivate, and work independentlyAbility to deal effectively with a variety of individuals and groups related to adding new lines of coverage and servicing existing accountsMust work well in a team environmentAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal employees, brokers, group administrators and the publicMust present a positive and professional image on virtual and in person meetings internally and externallyAbility to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the understanding that unusual working hours are requiredAbility to use personal vehicle for work with a valid Driver's LicenseAbility to lift up to 40 lbs., in and out of a car trunk if necessary, and operate a hand truck.Required Education:Bachelor’s degree and/or 5 years related experience in the insurance field, with a preference for a life and disability backgroundRequired Experience:Must be currently licensed to sell insurance#USAL1
