Job Summary:Join us in shaping the future of aviation! Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking an experienced

Senior Consultant, Training and Facilitator

to enhance our team. Our ideal candidate will be proficient with strategic planning, organizational change management and communications, and meeting design and facilitation.

This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers traversing over 28 million miles of U.S. controlled airspace every day. In addition to providing air traffic control and safety oversight for civilian aviation, the FAA also works in lockstep with the Department of Defense and other government agencies to ensure the security of our nation. A key component of that coordination involves the collaborative use of aviation tools and data.

Key Responsibilities:A successful candidate must have a

minimum of 8 years

of experience in:

Delivering Organizational Transformation Services to the federal Government through Strategy, People, Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Facilitation, and Organizational Change Management.

Maintaining a strategic view of all meetings and their interdependencies to ensure the outcomes from each meeting serve the greater purpose of disaster mitigation and resiliency.

Designing and delivering organizational change management approaches focused on stakeholder engagement, adoption, and communication.

Taking primary responsibility for development of a process agenda, which includes the meeting timeline and speaking notes/scripts for each presenter.

Conducting assessments and developing strategies for organizational development, process improvement, and performance measurement.

Leading workshops and group facilitation sessions on team building, conflict management, and performance improvement.

Ensuring that client requirements are properly defined and that proposed solutions meet client needs and expectations.

Partnering with senior leaders to understand developmental needs of their leadership populations, and design scalable content that meets their needs, including tailoring specific content when necessary.

Evaluating training program effectiveness through assessments, surveys and feedback from key stakeholders and recommending modifications to course content based on data.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in any field, Masters is preferred

Active ICF Certification (either ACC or PCC)

Resident of the Washington DC Metro area

Proven knowledge of technology, especially systems used for government meetings, virtual learning technology, team building, conflict resolution, and instructional methods

SME in one or more of the following areas: EI, growth mindset, soft skills, communication theory, adult learning theory, goal setting, leadership development

5+ years of virtual facilitation experience, particularly beyond structured content training

5+ years of experience facilitating multiple-day training programs to small and large groups

Specialized experience in union environments and government agency structures

Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment and adjust based on audience's learning needs
