Join our team and come grow with us.POSITION OVERVIEWThe Asset Allocation Team defines and implements the strategy for the firm’s investment portfolio. Working closely with other teams in the New York Investment Office, Asset Allocation leads the management of Global Atlantic’s $150+ billion general account.A subgroup of the team, Portfolio Management, is responsible for ongoing management of the $150+ billion assets backing existing policies and supports the competitive acquisition of new business onto the balance sheet. Within this team the Program Analyst is expected to:Participate in the construction of pricing portfolios for new and prospective business channelsAssess new investment strategies’ impact on asset-liability management and underlying profitability for Global AtlanticPerform analysis on in-force investment portfolios and suggest trades to improve asset-liability alignmentLead portfolio execution and liquidity management across asset classes and support various initiatives with Finance and RiskCoordinate with Institutional Markets in institutionalizing investment compliance reporting frameworks for reinsurance client servicingPrepare investment-related materials for senior leadership, board members, regulators, and potential investorsLiaise with portfolio managers and other business teams on ad hoc projects and strategic initiativesQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree with outstanding academic record and 1-2 years of relevant professional experienceExperience in financial markets, portfolio construction, and asset managementStrong background in both Excel and PowerPoint, familiarity with programming languages (Python / SQL) a plusFamiliarity with quantitative concepts and fixed income mathEnergetic, inquisitive, and an initiative to take on high impact projects that cover new ground for the team and the companyHighly professional and team oriented; organized with acute attention to detailStrong balance of technical and communication skillsProgress towards CFA designation a plusKnowledge of insurance regulatory requirements a plusThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the futureGlobal Atlantic’s

base salary range

is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
