We’re one global team – 47,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.Job DescriptionAECOM Technical Services, Inc. has multiple openings for a Senior Technical Microgrid Manager to be based in Sacramento, CA.Job Responsibilities:Perform project management and technical tasks on a variety of projects focusing on Microgrid, BESS and renewable energy projects.Manage and execute projects and oversee design aspects of the project.Stay abreast of advancements in microgrid controls and remain up to date on regulatory and legislative aspects of microgrid deployment.Understanding of renewable technologies and components of microgrids and energy storage.Lead a diverse team of professionals including, but not limited to: project managers, construction managers, project controls professionals, estimators, public outreach, procurement professionals, environmental professionals, consultants, owners engineering, safety professionals, risk management, etc.Solve business challenges and provide coaching to peers and team members.Leverage relationships to expand work with existing clients, identify new clients and recruit and retain in-house staff.Position requires 20% of domestic travel.QualificationsEmployer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a technology related occupation.Position Requires:Microgrid design and architecture;Energy storage systems;Single line diagrams;AutoCAD;SCADA systems;Energy systems;Renewable energy technologies.Additional InformationOffered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $197,000.
