We are happy to be working exclusively with an industry leading manufacturing and services organisation to recruit a new Health and Safety Coordinator to the team.
This is a newly created role following company growth, and the position will be shaped to you, your strengths, and your career goals. The focus of this role is to support the Group Health and Safety Manager in their development and improvement of Health and Safety procedures across the business.
As Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Reviewing and drafting documents including Health and Safety policies and proceduresUpdating documentation within the Health and Safety management systemCommunicating with various departments and following up on required actions and improvementsUpdating records and inputting data into the Health and Safety database and generating reportsLiaising with management and insurance bodies regarding claims managementTo be considered for this role you will have:NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent level 3 qualificationExperience working with or understanding of Health and Safety management systemsStrong administrative and IT skillsThe ability to work with Health and Safety databasesA valid UK Driving licence.In return, the successful candidate will receive a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience, and the chance to work with a supportive and dedicated team.
