Job DescriptionDaystar are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst, motivated Data Reporting & Analysis Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting on data from various sources, with a strong focus on enhancing our business intelligence and decision-making processes. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance data reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
Connect and integrate data from CRM and SaaS platforms, particularly HubSpot and Salesforce, to create comprehensive and actionable reports.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, tailoring communication to the audience's technical level.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data reporting and analysis.
Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing knowledge, offering support, and participating in team activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience in data reporting and analysis, with a strong portfolio of work using tools like Power BI, Looker, or similar.
Solid understanding of SQL and experience working in SQL environments.
Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce) and SaaS platforms as data sources.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in an understandable way.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in data reporting.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data visualization best practices.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Understanding of data governance and data quality management.
Experience with API integrations for data extraction and automation.
