Job Overview

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services essential for the organization's operations.

Responsibilities

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives

Coordinate with internal departments to determine their purchasing needs

Oversee the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment

Monitor inventory levels and track deliveries to ensure timely supply chain management

Evaluate supplier performance and address issues promptly

Utilize SAP or similar software for efficient procurement processes

Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality standards

Skills

Proficient in vendor management and procurement management

Ability to procure and fabricate goods effectively

Knowledge of supply chain management principles

Familiarity with logistics operations and pricing strategies

Experience with SAP or other procurement software systems

Strong skills in supplier and contract management

Job Type:

Full-time

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
