Purchasing Manager
Job Overview:Join a dynamic and rapidly growing company as a Purchasing Manager. We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about procurement and supply chain management. As a Purchasing Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Duties:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
Manage supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting to secure favorable terms.
Oversee inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
Collaborate with vendors to maintain strong relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.
Utilize procurement systems to track purchases, monitor supplier performance, and analyze spending patterns.
Lead contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and favorable terms for the organization.
Implement and maintain effective contract management practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Skills:
Proficient in sourcing strategies and contract management.
Experience in supplier management and vendor negotiation.
Strong background in inventory management and procurement systems.
Ability to negotiate contracts effectively to achieve cost savings.
Skilled in procure-to-pay processes and supply chain optimization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor relationship management.
Detail-oriented with a focus on price analysis and market trends.
Proven track record in driving efficiency through process improvements.
Must be proficient in utilizing technology, including analytics software.
Must be proficient in utilizing Office 365.
Education:Bachelors Degree Required in Business or related (Master's Degree preferred).
