We are partnering with a global fin-tech firm in their search for a Senior HR Business Partner - Technology to join their global HR team.
You will serve as a key and flexible partner to the business in supporting talent development, driving optimum performance, thoughtful leadership, and change management, working specifically within their DevOps business segment.
This position requires previous HRBP experience working specifically with technologists.
Due to the culture of the firm, someone with experience working in a big tech start-up environment would be highly advantageous.
This is a combined position that is both hands-on and strategic, providing core expertise in employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, compensation, employee retention, coaching/development, conflict management and ad hoc projects as necessary.
This position within the global HR team is uniquely centred on driving and taking ownership of maintaining a strong company culture by solving complex organizational challenges due to the firm's evolving business needs.

Duties of the Senior HR Business Partner role include:
Working specifically in the DevOps group, partnering directly with managers in order to strengthen their skills and capabilities across performance coaching, general employee relations, managing change and addressing difficult conversations.
Recommending agile solutions for the purpose of promoting and encouraging continuous improvements regarding workforce planning and organizational efficiency.
Serve as a communications lead, by taking advantage of opportunities to communicate key updates and share good practices & innovation. Develop & enhance relationships to optimize connections and build important context which makes us all smarter & more efficient.
Understanding the teams broadly as well as at an individual level in order to successfully identify talent needs and to develop effective strategies to support employee onboarding, engagement, development and retention with alignment to the company's cultural values.
Acting as a brand ambassador and culture carrier across the firm. Ensuring team and people strategies reflect the firms core values, whilst being an effective influencer to create positive change and proactively mitigate and resolve employee issues.
Contribute to and support the overall global HR operational processes such as merit and bonus process, global mobility transfers, leave management, etc. Be comfortable suggesting areas of process improvement and identifying new trends and opportunities to constantly raise the bar on HR deliverables.
Develop, support, and communicate guidelines and procedures with a flexible mindset approach.
Partner with other People team members globally. Work as a team on all things people.
Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and senior management on local, regional, and/or global impact changes or updates.
Ensure compliance with all legal employment requirements, documents, and employment agreements such as non-solicitation, non-compete, and confidentiality obligations.

Role Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, business consulting, or related field.
At least 10 years of HRBP experience spanning employee relations, talent management, compensation, performance management, global mobility, benefits, onboarding, and recruitment.
Experience in Technology, Financial Services industry, or start-up environment highly desired.
Competent in HRIS systems such as Workday, Greenhouse, and ability to become a user of other systems.
Strong functional knowledge of the full life cycle of an employee experience.
Solid understanding of employment laws, HR best practices and industry trends.
Experience with managing and thriving in ambiguity by dealing with issues that do not always have a clear resolution at the outset.
Reliable and predictable availability.
This position will suit a skilled Sr HRBP with experience working in high growth environments, who has a demonstrated ability to understand the bigger picture relating to people strategy
