Job Overview:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will report to our Sales Manager and support the broader Enterprise Solutions department. The BDR will build core skills in sales and work for a mission-driven association that impacts leading organizations across the globe. You will be responsible for working closely with the sales team to help generate sales opportunities through sales outreach.Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative:

Scheduling strategic meetings and presentations with talent development leaders for account executives.Initiate contact with potential clients to generate sales opportunities through calls and emails.Conduct research to identify new prospects using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other internal databases.Acquire in-depth knowledge to effectively present the value of our education courses, membership, and professional certification options to both existing members and new clients.Requirements of the Business Development Representative:

1 – 2 years of work experience in business development, sales, or a related role.Prior experience selling training courses is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a strong phone presence.Salesforce CRM experience is required; proficiency in Salesforce is preferred.Positive attitude, willingness to support team members, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.Ability to collaborate effectively within a motivated, client-focused team environment.Bachelor’s degree preferred (all majors welcome) or relevant work experience.Salary: $75-85k + BenefitsLocation: Alexandria, VA; Hybrid
