This role is within our rapidly growing Customer Development team at Mimecast, a high-velocity sales environment that handles a key segment of the market where our solutions resonate strongly. We are seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with strong sales skills and a proven track record in generating new business. At Mimecast, you'll be part of a team that values a strong work ethic and collaboration, providing you with the opportunity to thrive and succeed in a well-structured yet agile setting.What You'll DoAchieve upsell revenue targets (monthly, quarterly, annual).Build and maintain relationships with existing accounts.Develop and execute account and sales activity plans.Drive incremental revenue by selling new technology to current customers.Manage reporting of KPIs and CRM housekeeping.Follow and implement sales methodologies and processes.Provide management with activity reports and relevant information.Collaborate with other company functions to support business growth.Attend training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.What You'll NeedIT sales experience (Email/Messaging/Security/Storage preferred but not essential).Proven track record in achieving new business sales targets.Experience in both direct and indirect sales roles.Understanding of corporate IT teams and their buying processes.Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Results-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.Self-starter with dynamic, confident presentation skills.Ability to critically assess personal and team performance.Problem-solving skills and adaptability.Team player with a tenacious approach.Comfortable in a high-performance, dynamic environment.
