Sodexo is seeking a

Food Operations Manager

for

UMass Memorial Medical Center , at the North Pavilion location on campus, located in

Worcester, MA.

The manager oversees the foodservice operation at this location, overseeing a team of 20+ hourly employees. The hours for this role may involve rotating shifts as well as rotating weekend coverage.Part of the UMass Memorial University Campus, the North Pavilion will be an inpatient, acute-care facility. The North Pavilion will have 18 private rooms per floor for a total of 72 patient beds. These rooms will be technologically sophisticated and comfortable, designed for both patients and visitors, ensuring optimal care and relaxation.Responsibilities

Lead a team of hourly employees by delegating, assigning and prioritizing activities, and monitoring daily operations in the kitchen and cafe areas.Oversee catering deliveries and set ups and assist with ordering as needed.Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff members.Utilize Sodexo resources, recipes, systems and use of catering and retail programs efficiently.Qualifications

Is this opportunity right for you?
