Plant Manager

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant field.

5 years management experience in manufacturing, engineering, or multiwall field.

5 years experience supporting and leading continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

5 years demonstrated ability to create, develop, and lead teams.

Preferred ability to speak in Spanish.

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, visitors, vendors, and customers - responsible for all plant safety programs.

Lead and mentor Production Manager and Plant Supervisors and other leaders within the facility to improve safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations.

Aid internal departments to identify issues affecting safety, efficiency, productivity, food safety, and overall quality of product.

Partners, leads, and supports projects and initiatives implemented by the technical team and the continuous improvement leader.

Assist in setting annual operational targets and help drive improvements to achieve those targets.

Assist in solving internal and external complaints related to quality, including raw materials.

Responsible for developing and monitoring facility production budget.

Set production standards and review production results. Drives standardization of processes and the implementation of metrics and best practices.

Ensures timely completion of preventative maintenance, action items from internal and external audits, continuous improvement projects, and safety initiatives.

Member of the CAPA team.

Ensures all employees, visitors, vendors, etc., participate and are responsible for following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) laid forth in the Food Safety and Quality Manual.

Supports SQF Practitioner and responsible for Safe Quality Food (SQF) compliance and partners with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on SQF compliance concerns.

Job Details:

$43.10-73.04/hr depending on experience in relevant field (this will be a salaried role)
