This position assumes a pivotal role in the institution's recruitment efforts aimed at attracting and enrolling transfer students to fulfill priority enrollment objectives as identified in the university's Strategic Enrollment Management Plan.This position requires the candidate to come in with several years of experience in building and expanding partnerships between two- and four-year community college partners; have enhanced experience working with and managing articulation agreements; and be able to work comfortably with senior campus leadership both at UAlbany and with our partner colleges.Primary Responsibilities:Transfer/Dual Admissions:Manage Dual Admissions agreements with partner institutions (currently Borough of Manhattan Community College, Hudson Valley Community College, Fulton-Montgomery Community College, and Adirondack Community College with two additional campuses in progress)Serve as UAlbany point personHelp students navigate the pathway between the campuses for admissions and quasi-advisement to create seamless transitionSchedule and host regular office hours on Dual Admission campuses to establish a consistent presence and connect with prospective studentsEngage with academic departments, financial aid, housing, and other student support services related to special events for dual admit students to familiarize them with and navigate the services provided by UAlbany to begin preparing for the transfer process.Serve as co-chair on the UAlbany Transfer Strategic Planning CommitteeAssist the interim director to establish and create strategies and goals for transfer specific recruitment.Cultivate relationships with transfer counselors at other campuses and participate in the UAlbany Transfer Counselor Advisory BoardReview and evaluate transfer applications for admissionTravel to fairs and community colleges to connect with prospective students and familiesGeneral Admissions:Complete shifts in phone rotation schedule once every two to three weeksServe as Professional of the Day (POD) in rotation schedule to present to campus tour groups and meet with students/families when neededParticipate in and attend various Undergraduate Admissions and University eventsRequirements:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from accredited institution5-7 years of experience working with and recruiting transfer studentsDemonstrated experience in building and managing collaborative partnerships on campusValid/clean driver's license to operate a motor vehicleAbility to travel and work some weekends/eveningsApplicants must demonstrate an ability to develop inclusive and equitable relationships within our diverse campus communityApplicants must demonstrate an ability to support diversity, equity, access, inclusion and belonging relative to their roleDemonstrated experience in building and managing collaborative partnerships within educational institutionsPreferred Qualifications:7-10 years of experience working with and recruiting transfer studentsStrong technology skills and experience with Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) softwareExperience in establishing collaborations with other collegesExcellent attention to detail with concern for accuracyEvidence of exceptional initiative and motivation at a high level.Additional Information:This is a promotional opportunity for current UAlbany employees.Eligibility for Consideration:You must be employed at the University at Albany campus.You must be in a State-funded UUP professional position (MC employees are not eligible).You must have a permanent, term, or probationary appointment (temporary employees are not eligible).For details concerning the University's Promotion Policy for Professional Employees, please see HR Memorandum 88-4.Professional Rank and Salary Grade:
