Two (2) years of post-secondary college or technical instruction in building technology and/or construction management, mechanical, plumbing or building instruction;Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in the building or construction field or satisfactory equivalent of education and experience;Certification from the State of Oregon as a Building Official, A-level Plans Examiner, Fire and Life Safety Plans Examiner, A-level structural inspector, one- and two-family inspector, mobile home and RV parks (A-level mechanical is preferred).
