Responsibilities of Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):
Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department.
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Coordinate and manage nursing care, services, and staff schedules.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including training and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with other departments to maintain and improve patient care.
Participate in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
Monitor resident care plans and ensure they are effectively carried out.
Qualifications:
Valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a long-term care or similar setting.
Strong understanding of nursing practices, policies, and procedures.
