To lead and direct the ESSHQ efforts at the site.Contact point between LR site and regional ESSHQ organization.Monitor and review performance of ESSHQ processes and KPIs at the site.Support and consult all departments within the plant regarding ESSHQ.Initiate lessons learned programs to improve safety and optimize performance in ESSHQ initiatives.Transfer ESSHQ requirements of Evonik and BL Catalysts to the site and ensure departments implement them.Identify, prevent, and resolve ESSHQ compliance risks at the site in accordance with corporate requirements, standards, and policies.Participate as a functional expert/resource for LR site.Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Safety, Environmental, or related equivalent technical degree.5 years or more of safety experience in an industrial/chemical plant environment.Well-developed oral and written communication/presentation skills (target audiences: employees; plant and global management and supervision; senior management; government regulatory agency representatives; third parties; and the general public).Technical ability/knowledge to review and evaluate environmental regulations and summarize proposed changes to management.Supervise and lead direct reports to ensure ongoing environmental compliance.Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.At least 3 years of experience with ISO requirements.Your Application
