Interventionist - Team LeadPosition Purpose
The Team Lead Interventionist’s primary responsibilities are to function as an Interventionist but will have additional responsibilities. An Interventionist's primary purpose is to lead and support student achievement growth and proficiency by working collaboratively with Classroom Teachers, English Learner Teachers, and Special Education Teachers and building leadership team. The Team Lead Interventionist will have additional responsibilities as part of their regular work schedule, and they will be required to work additional days. The position will also have additional responsibilities. The extra responsibilities will be re-evaluated every school year in accordance with grant funding availability.
Essential Job Functions
Pull data and group students based on ability (lead additional duty).
Plan progress monitoring schedules (lead additional duty).
Identify skills for the different groups (lead additional duty).
Pull resources for teachers in their small groups (lead additional duty).
Using the collected data as a guide will coordinate teachers and other interventionists in growth activities (lead additional duty).
Be the main point of contact for the programming to provide interventions.
Participate in cluster professional development weekly to support student needs.
Work with students one-on-one, in small or large group settings, as determined by the building principal.
Utilize student data to inform instructional practices, including progress monitoring of skills as needed. Develop lesson plans to support students' skill growth.
Collaborate with classroom, EL, and Special Education teachers to best support each student.
Contribute positively to support school goals and school culture and climate.
Participate as needed or assigned in professional development in regards to curriculum and/or instructional practices.
Communicate with staff and parents to support student growth and achievement.
Other duties as assigned by the building principal.
EquipmentUse standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines, calculator, and telephone.
Travel RequirementsTravel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Pay Rate$34.15 per hour
Work Schedule8 hours per day, 183 days per year with the expectation of working up to an additional 20 days based on school needs and availability and prior approval.

An Indiana Teaching License is required.
Education
A bachelor's degree is required; elementary education content area is preferred.
Experience
