Description
Reporting to the Director of Global Business Systems, the Oracle Supply Chain Business Analyst position combines business knowledge and an understanding of the inner-workings and configuration options of multiple Oracle Supply Chain modules.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for production support in specific geographic areas of KnowlesProvide production support for Oracle ERP modules: Order Management, Shipping, Purchasing, InventoryGather new reporting requirements, perform feasibility analysis and provide recommendationsWork on prioritized requests, develop functional design documents, create test plans, work with development team in developing, perform regression testing, conduct user acceptance testing and training
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
10+ years of experience with Oracle EBS modules: Order Management, Shipping, Purchasing, InventoryDemonstrated ability to prepare and maintain implementation documentsKnowledge in underlying Oracle ERP applications database architectureKnowledge in Oracle database and development tools (PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports)Working knowledge of software development and support methodologiesProficient in Oracle AIM methodologyProficient in running SQL scripts for data analysis and validationProficient in Oracle OBIEEStrong Systems / Process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem-solving skillsStrong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action itemsEffective prioritization and execution of tasks in a high-pressure environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsProven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quicklyAbility to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, and to lead and influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority
